ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH ADHD
Support is here!

 YOU’RE NOT ALONE!

In the U.S., 1 in 10 children, and 1 in 23 adults, has an Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) diagnosis. ADHD symptoms can affect you at home, school, work, and various social settings. These symptoms can interfere with your mental and emotional health as well as the quality of your life. The good news is that professional help for ADHD is within your reach.

CORE SYMPTOMS OF ADHD / ADD

  • Difficulty giving and maintaining attention.
  • Disorganization, distraction, and forgetfulness.
  • Avoidance of mental effort.
  • Restlessness, difficulty waiting for one’s turn, interrupting others.
  • Fidgeting, squirming, frequently being on the go.
  • Failure to act on instructions, meet deadlines, and maintain focus on important tasks.
  • Forgetfulness and difficulty listening.
  • Talking excessively and having difficulty being quiet.

If any of these symptoms sound familiar, you should consider obtaining help for ADHD.

HOW DO WE SUPPORT YOU?

We support clients who struggle with ADHD in various segments of their needs:

  • THERAPY
  • LIFE COACHING, ADHD COACHING, and ACADEMIC COACHING
  • NEUROFEEDBACK

You can select a la carte options or combine all segments to address your ADHD needs.

THERAPY

Therapy is a safe space for your ongoing emotional and mental growth and maturation. Over the years, ADHD symptoms can adversely influence your identity and relationship with your environment in ways that can benefit from therapeutic engagement. Especially if you have not been diagnosed, you might be confused and frustrated about your struggles and face pushback from your environment. It is likely that your relationships might have been strained and other troubling issues arisen. We collaborate with your assessment providers in conducting our own in-depth psychosocial assessment to see if you are also struggling with:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Relational conflict

Therapy then addresses your deeper symptoms and ADHD-related needs.

COACHING

Coaching is a one-on-one, client-driven, strengths-focused, and positive process that increases and improves the organizational, intellectual, and physical resources you need to meet pressing and time-sensitive life challenges. In coaching you, we will:

  • Identify your daily challenges
  • Help you plan to meet these challenges
  • Take action for self-improvement and hold you accountable

Coaching puts you in the driver’s seat. In our first sessions, you’ll define your needs, desires, and visions, and we’ll gather relevant information about you. Next, we’ll craft a customized plan to get you to your goal states, and we’ll meet regularly with you to ensure that you’re succeeding—and to tweak your plans to ensure continuous improvement. We’ll work on defining and executing effective routines, foreseeing and avoiding hindrances to self-improvement, supercharging your self-organization, and building your internal and external resources.

Coaching is especially useful in addressing short-term, goal-oriented, and practical challenges that are not designed to be addressed in therapy. While therapy and other interventions offer you long-term stability, grounding, and a template for ongoing growth, coaching addresses the urgency of daily life through accountability-oriented self-management. Unfortunately, the world won’t stop and wait—while taking care of your long-term needs, you need a solution that lets you start making a difference in your life today. Coaching can be that solution.

ADHD COACHING

ADHD coaches are trained to work with clients with ADHD or ADHD-adjacent symptoms. ADHD coaches have certified training and experience in helping clients better structure their lives, understand their condition, overcome negative feelings and cognitions through self-compassion, identify and apply personal strengths, build resilience, generate focus and follow-through, and provide personalized support. Research indicates that ADHH coaching can be a highly effective means of improving ADHD symptoms, executive function, self-esteem, well-being, and overall quality of life.

People with ADHD have many strengths—including creativity, curiosity, and a commitment to self-improvement. However, your environment isn’t designed to help you unlock these strengths. In a world of constant distraction, high stakes, and unhelpful social support systems, ADHD coaching can help you:

  • Stop beating yourself up! Understand your brain so that you come to accept that ‘different’ isn’t ‘worse.’
  • Marshal your attention as needed to get back in charge of your life.
  • Help you savor and build on successes, getting rid of negative self-talk and hurtful self-judgments.
  • Map where you want to be and how you want to feel—and learn how to get there!
  • Understand how to make boring and intimidating tasks ‘sparkle’ again.
  • Apply your brain’s unique capabilities to maximize productivity and minimize procrastination.

ADHD coaches understand the unique strengths and struggles confronting individuals with ADHD. As your coaches, we help you discover, augment, and practice inner strengths that lead to outer change.

ACADEMIC COACHING

Especially when ADHD is involved, navigating academic demands can be difficult. Teachers, professors, tutors, and others are unlikely to empathize with your challenges, know what you need and help you develop your skills and strengths in time to finish your thesis, ace that test, or enter the school or program of your dreams. An academic coach, especially one specializing in ADHD, helps you create and execute a customized academic plan centered on your needs and strengths, keeps you accountable, and encourages you throughout the process.
